getting back to real life

I can't say its for want of free time that I've been so delinquent in posting. Its just that I've had any number of things to be doing with that free time and blogging has not been atop the priorities. Finding a job was, however, and I'm pleased that as of today that has been accomplished. I'll get to work again with a friend from Rome Season 1, and it looks to be a good opportunity.

Our last bag finally arrived on Sunday night, although much to our dismay one of the 1 Litre beer bottles we'd packed in that bag had broken. It was kind of smelly, but Krysta's silk skirt seems to be the only casualty. In any case it was nice the bag finally arrived. Better late and covered in beer than never, right?

I still want to blog, retroactively, about our time in Krakow. Realistically this won't happen for another week or so, as my parents are coming into town tomorrow for a visit. I'm really excited about this because they haven't been here since I graduated from SC. Also, since my job doesn't start until next week I'll be able to enjoy the weekdays with them. All of this adds up to little or no time to blog.

I will mention, in closing, that I got my annual dose of live Cardinals action this past Saturday, and enjoyed seeing them shutout the Dodgers.

Now I'm going to finally put pictures from the trip up on Facebook and then go to sleep.
